As usual, I went to visit my family for Sunday dinner last weekend. Knowing that my parents had been doing some fall cleaning, I was interested to see if they found anything of interest to me. Sure enough, I received two big boxes of items that they had kept over the years. I discovered my school report cards, certificates and awards dating back to Kindergarten. Although my mom was happy to give the boxes away, I was clueless about what to do with everything. Since the boxes had been saved for so long, I didn’t want to throw it all away. Storage is limited in my townhome, so I had to figure out another alternative. I discussed my dilemma at work on Monday, and someone suggested using C-Line’s Sheet Protectors and 3-Ring Binders to organize everything.

Although C-Line has a variety of sheet protectors to choose from, my co-worker recommended using the Antimicrobial Protected Heavyweight Poly Sheet Protector. Microban protection helps prevent the growth of stain causing bacteria, yeasts, molds, and fungi for the life of the sheet protector. The sheet protectors are clear on both sides so I am able to fit at least two pages in each holder. If I find something larger to store, C-Line also has a High Capacity Sheet Protector, which can store up to 50 pages. Since some pages are already somewhat dated, I wouldn’t have to mess around with hole punching already aging paper. Instead, everything could just be slid into the sheet protector and placed right into the 3-Ring Binder. C-Line’s binders come in two different sizes, 1-inch and 1 ½ inches wide. Fortunately, they are high capacity so they can hold a large amount of information, which I will definitely need. Although it may take time to complete, this idea is a great way for me to safely store significant things that I want to keep.
